Madrona Grove's distinct farmhouse aesthetic greets visitors, staff, and residents with a feeling of comfort and being at home in every space.

The layout of the project has multiple spaces that can be multi-purpose, allowing for the community to be agile with resident needs.

Having room to maneuver was key throughout the project, ensuring that residents would have the means to safely move between their room, each 'house,' common areas, or outside.

Even within an urban setting, Madrona Grove & Rose Villa as a whole prioritize scenery and lighting within and outside.

Entering Madrona Grove is welcoming, greeting you with a feeling of being at home, rather than in a facility.

Every 'house' within the small-house model has a kitchen, common areas, and ample seating right outside the resident rooms.

Having each 'house's' kitchen nearby allows for residents to see and smell meals prepared throughout the day.

Space was key throughout the project, ensuring that residents would have the means to safely move between their room, each 'house,' common areas, or outside.

With efficient use of the building footprint, residents can enjoy privacy or activities with other residents while still in reach of staff.

Each common area has ample light, space for movement, and plenty of reasons for socializing or activity for the residents.

Residents don't just live in, but also control, the space within their own private room.

Amenities like the barber shop here bring a sense of home and personal care & needs that bring a facility's feeling of home to a higher caliber.

Each private room is designed with specific resident needs & level of care in mind. The style within every room is unique and recognizable within the entire project, as well as within each 'house' of the small-house model.
